How to use

ink is an MCP server that lets your AI assistant drive your development tooling — manage repositories, issues, pull requests, and builds.

Best for connecting an assistant to GitHub/GitLab and your CI so it can read and act on code.
Works in any MCP-compatible client — Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, and others.
Add it once to your client config; its tools then appear to the assistant automatically.

This server isn't published as an installable package, so you run it from source.

1. Clone the repository and follow its README to install dependencies and build.
2. In your MCP client config, set command to the built entry point (e.g. node dist/index.js).
3. Restart the client and confirm the tools appear.
